Body, chassis, suspension:

  • structural analysis (stress, stiffness, quasi-static, dynamic, crash, buckling, fatigue, thermal-fluid dynamics) of parts, subassemblies and complete vehicle.

 

Powertrain:

  • stress assessment on engine components (head, engine mount, camshaft, engine blocks) resulting from mission loads, shock and extreme load cases that occur during the operating phases of the engine life; stress and strain assessment plastics on components exposed to thermal cycling of the engine such as intake and exhaust manifolds, turbines, engine heads; analysis of the fatigue life of engine mount, alternator and pump mount; analysis of the dynamic behavior of the entire engine and its components to evaluate the free modes of vibration and the frequency response to operating loads.

 

Passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles wheels:

  • analysis of stresses and fatigue resistance, under rolling and rotating bending loads; impact analysis, resistance of attachment bolt holes, stiffness, natural frequencies and dynamic response analysis; 2D and 3D CAD design, geometric optimization for fatigue and run-out.



Aerospace

FEAs (Finite Element Analyses) performed with the aim of verifying the structural integrity and functionality of products under specific load conditions, during space missions (launch, permanence in space, landing).

Analysis of finite elements and preparation of technical reports according to the guidelines provided by ESA, NASA and institutes of international standards.

Sheet metal stamping

  • Analysis of structural strength and production process (forming, welding, painting), with the adoption of a problem solving approach: lessons learned, theoretical and numerical analysis of physical phenomena, experimental tests, root cause analysis, proposal of a solution and preparation of technical reports, including procedures and best practices for managing subsequent projects. Increased design capability through know-how in sheet metal products, CAD and CAE methodologies for product-process engineering, training on design methodologies and calculation, preparation of technical reports and "robust design book". Support for the development of new products and technologies, new materials (light alloy, steel, magnesium) and production technologies (hydroforming, laser cutting and welding, surface treatments .. . )
